Facebook Split Personality

Facebook Split Personality Maybe you are Bruce Wayne by day and Batman by night. Or just maybe, you're clients and colleagues know you as Professor or Your Honor, but your high school classmates know you as "HotRod". Nothing is more comforting to hear than, "Hi, I'm Dr. Hotrod Smith and I'll be operating on you today."

Facebook is the great connector. We reconnect with classmates we haven't talked to in years. With them, we relive memories, embarrassing moments and teenage milestones. Plus, it's fun. But sharing that picture of ourselves may not exactly further our professional image. I'm sure lots of us have those past skeletons (like streaking the quadrangle in college), but we don't exactly put them on our resume.
Enter the new Facebook Friends lists. Facebook launched their expanded Smart Friend List feature this week. With this change, your friends can now be categorized into four pre-defined categories, Friends, Family, Acquaintances and geographic location. You have always had the ability to create lists but the process of posting to a specific list was cumbersome and obscure. Today it's prominently displayed next to the share button on your status update.
When the Friends Smart List feature launched, it automatically assigned friends to your local area list. It also assigns some family members to the Family group (although I had to add a couple of my immediate family members. They were in the "List suggestion" section, which made it easy to add.) You will have to initially add people to the other lists. In the beginning, it may be a little time consuming, but if you add new friends to lists as you confirm them, it will be much easer.
Maintaining Your Two Personalities
I frequently hear clients and social media students ask, "How can I keep my business and personal life separated?" Smart lists make that very easy. But more than that, it can be a good practice to enhance your marketing message. Chances are, your friends may not be the least bit interested in your business marketing content. And when your professional connections are "eavesdropping" on your conversations with friends, they probably won't be able to follow along or even be interested. Either group may tend to filter out your updates since they aren't pertinent to them.
A better practice would be to target your updates to the group of friends it is directed to. Create a list of professional or business friends and post only business related content to that group. Meanwhile, create another list of friends that you post your personal updates to. Each list then sees content they should be interested in and will be more attuned to each post you make.
There will be some friends that will fit both categories, so assign them to both. They won't receive duplicate posts, but they will receive posts anytime you update either list. Some of your content will be appropriate for everyone. In those cases you can post to Friends and everyone will receive it
One thing you should know about Smart Lists. When you post to a list, there is an icon on the "Like Comment" line below the post. The icon will either be a globe (Public), friends or a cog (lists). By mousing over the icon, you will see a message that shows what the update was shared to friends, friends of friends or the name of the Smart List. For that reason, you may want to be cautious with your list names.
List can be useful in many ways, such as announcing local events. What other ways have you used the list feature?

How Produce Winning Webinar

How Produce Winning Webinar Today's technology allows us to connect with and form relationships with people all over the world right from our home or office. A webinar is a great way to do this because of all the tools and technology available to us.
A webinar is just like a seminar only it is done online via your computer. Webinar is short for web-based seminar and they can be very instrumental in building your business.
Webinars can help your business by allowing you to train your recruits and/or sales team. They can also be useful in building relationships and generating sales leads.
Producing a successful webinar does take some work and you need to know what you are getting into. There are several styles of webinars including a single speaker, guest speakers, interviews, panel discussions and also interaction from the audience.
A successful webinar must be efficiently planned out. You need to determine what tools you will be using, what style you will be producing, arranging schedules, deciding whether you will be charging for your webinar, etc.
If you plan on having people from all over the world attend pick out a time that is most convenient for all time zones. If you are having guest speakers, confer with them on their schedules. Mid-week and midday seem to be the best times to schedule a webinar.
Deciding what tools and or visuals you will be using in your webinar. Visuals such as flash presentations, charts, graphs, slides, etc., are always effective in helping people focus on what you are saying and keeping their attention. Because you are not there, face-to-face with your audience, you should have other visuals available for them. Also, have a photo of yourself available so people can visualize you while you are talking.
Compare webinar software so you can get the features you will need. I've heard good things about (although I have not yet tried them) Microsoft Live Meeting, GoToMeeting, and Adobe Connect.
Do not turn your webinar into a sleep inducing lecture. Encouraging audience participation is a good idea as it gets people more interested and excited about what you are teaching them or explaining to them. Use a chat function to take questions and comments from your audience and/or trainees. You can also think of some activities to engage your audience. Get your participants to share via discussions, polls, feedback, questions, storytelling and more.
Contact participants before the event. This can be important because it can help you to assess what topics and points of interest to cover in your webinar thus getting better results.
Once you have the style, tools, pricing, schedule and everything else decided be sure to "rehearse" your webinar. This can be crucial in the success of your event. You want everything to flow smoothly and all activities, speeches, presentations, etc., to fall into place so be sure to do a few practice runs to make sure all is well.
Now that you have your webinar all planned out and ready to go, you have to promote it. You want to give yourself several weeks to get the word out about your webinar. And of course you will want to take advantage of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. to let everyone know about your webinar. Send an announcement to your mailing list/subscribers. Announce the webinar on your site. Use online event calendars such as Full Calendar, Events Setter and webinar announcement services such as Seminar Announcer. You can also promote it via print newspaper event calendars, TV network event calendars and other event calendars online and offline. Don't forget about your email signature and your article resource box.
Webinars are very effective when done professionally and effectively so put the time, work and practice in to make yours one of the best ever!

How Make Your Customer Feel Good About You

How Make Your Customer Feel Good About You If you didn't already know, your customers are the life blood of your business. If you want to stay in business for a long, long time, you will want to market to these people over and over again so that you can earn additional profits in your business right away. In fact, if you're not marketing to your existing customers in general, you're doing your customers (and your business) a disservice.

Instead, you should strive to make your customers feel special, and one of the beginning ways to do this is by keeping in contact with your customers on a monthly basis. You can do all kinds of things to make them feel special. And while we're talking about it, let's take a look at some of the things that you can do to increase customer retention, and keep them in your marketing loop.
1) Give them "member only" discounts
A member only discount is a great way to make your customers feel like they belong to a special club, or "inner circle". This can make your customers feel like their under a special membership. It's similar to how Wal-mart addresses their employees. Wal-mart doesn't call their employees "employees". Instead, they address them as associates.
This is something that you will want to keep in mind if you want to have a thriving business. 80% of your sales will come from sales on the backend - or selling to your existing customers. So if you're ignoring them, you're missing out on a ton of new sales that you could be making for free. Let's take a look at another way to make your customers feel special.
2) Contact them on their birthdays
This will come as a HUGE surprise by your customers. You could send them a simple Hallmark birthday card, and also include an offer for one of your products only. Make sure your product has some relevance towards their birthday also. I can remember receiving a "happy birthday kit" from this electronic razor company.
The package said "Happy 18th Birthday", but I'm older than 18. I accepted the gift and the electronic razor, and just said "thanks" to myself.
Both of these techniques for making your customers feel special are things that can still work today. It will take some work, but if you want your business to thrive and want to keep your customers happy with you, these are the things that you need to do. Remember, this is where 80% of your sales are coming from, so if you're not utilizing your list, you're not earning your full potential.
Hopefully you will take action on the tips that I have given in this article. I can assure you that most of your competitors aren't doing these kinds of things with their list, so you will stand out from the pack with your gracious approach.
Use these 2 tips to build solid customer relationships, and to inspire more sales and orders. Once you get started with these techniques, there's no turning back.

Top Marketing Techniques

Top Marketing Techniques Are you someone who has been practicing traditional marketing techniques and strategies over the last couple of years, and it has only brought you minimum results day after day? If so, then you know that this needs to change. And I'm glad that you took the initiative to look up on marketing tips and techniques that you can use to super-charge your business.

The first thing you should know is that conventional forms of marketing shouldn't be on your mind. To succeed in today's competitive marketplace, you have to think outside the box, and come up with new and creative ways to market your business. This is something that is fairly easy to do, and in this article, it's my intent on showing you to do so.
If you want the competitive edge over your competition, you have to use unconventional marketing techniques that are advanced in nature. The old ways of just sitting around and hoping that someone near the area will walk in and take you up on your products just doesn't work, so you need an aggressive approach when trying to market your products and services.
So what are some of these unconventional marketing techniques? Well, one of them is the use of contacting your existing customers. The more customers you get, the more your business profits will grow because of the fact that there's no more customer acquisition cost for this customer.
Everything is all done for you. You now have a customer that you can sell to over and over again without fail. This is also known as backend marketing, and it's an integral part of selling more of your products and services. Another unconventional marketing method is the technique of running radio ads.
People listen to the radio each and everyday. And your targeted audience is included amongst these people also. If you can create and develop a pitch for a radio ad, you can reach a lot of people, and you can get a lot of leads into your business almost effortlessly. Once you get these leads, you want to follow up on them on a monthly basis so that you can improve the odds of getting these people to buy from you.
Another thing that you should do is to seek out joint venture opportunities. In the internet world, this is incredibly easy to do. But offline, it will take some time for it to come into fruition. Even though this is an extended process, you can still take advantage of it and start making money with it.
When contacting someone about a joint venture opportunity, make sure your proposal letter is good. It will be in your interest to look up the company you want to do a joint venture with, just so you can get a good idea of who their client base consists of, and whether or not your product will be a fit for the opportunity.
All of these marketing ideas are things that you need to put into use right away if you want to gain the sales and new orders that you desire in your business. Don't procrastinate. It wouldn't be good if your competition got their hands on marketing strategies like the ones that I mentioned in this article.

Top Marketing Tips

Top Marketing Tips Are you looking to start a business real soon? Do you have the funds available to advertise and to cover maintenance fees and other nuances? If you're brand new to the world of business, there's a lot that you need to know. The first thing that you should know is that it will take you a ton of hard work to make your business a success.
Sure you've probably heard of businesses starting up and making over 1 million dollars in their first year, but this isn't the case for everyone, and this probably isn't the case for you either. There are some things that you will want to ask yourself before you embark on your journey into the world of business. Here's the first question to ask yourself:
1) Are you ready for a business?
Like I mentioned before, a business takes a lot of hard work. You have staff that you have to manage, and you have to deal with marketing, customer service, and making sure that your business unit is clean and sanitary. Make sure everyone is on the same page that you are, and you can pretty much set sail on a profitable journey.
If you're ready to tackle issues like those stated above, then maybe a business is for you. But if you're just starting out and have no idea of how to talk to your staff, how to implement good customer service, or how to do marketing... then you will find yourself in deep waters even on the day that your business first launches. Here's another question that you must ask yourself:
2) Do you have the capital necessary?
Do you have the money necessary to run a business? You have to deal with marketing, paying employees, offering entertainment, cable television (depending on the business), and the cost to purchase new products. With these things considered (and more), you have to take a long hard look to see if the math is working in your favor.
If the math isn't working in your favor, then you need to change the math until you reach an equation and solution that makes sense. You may even have to purchase training manuals for your staff to keep their mind sharp, and to be able to answer any questions that a particular customer may have.
The only way to make this work is with practice. Teach your employees what good customer service is, how to make the customer feel special, new marketing techniques, and new products or items that are new to your business. Take this approach and you will find yourself inundated with a business that is making you money on day 1.
I know you want to keep the dream of financial independence in your mind, and that you don't want to go back to work for someone else. But these issues are things that you will have to take care of if you want your new business to have the most success.
Be sure to use these questions to analyze whether or not you have what it takes to start a new business.

Stock Market Roller Coaster

Stock Market Roller Coaster There is nothing more terrifying to a new investor than to see the stock market jump wildly in the course of a single day. In minutes, a $100,000 portfolio might gain or lose $10,000 or more. Before you swear off the stock market for good, here are some things to think about:
1) Ask yourself if the value of your companies really changed by ten per cent or more in the course of a couple hours. Unless the company announced a buyout or a bankruptcy, the answer is almost certainly no. Short-term market moves are often based on wild fears, excessive speculation, and unfounded rumors. In times of great economic uncertainty, traders look to experts to tell them what to think, and effects are magnified when everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

2) Look at your company, not the market. Does it pay a great dividend? Is it likely to weather a recession well? Is it capturing more and more of the market? If you liked it yesterday and nothing has changed, hold firm. On the other hand, if you can't see anything to justify a price jump, sell while the selling is good.
3) Remember that the market is not a zero-sum game. Traders sometimes become caught up in the notion that if stocks are up by a certain percentage, they will necessarily fall by the same percentage when things get rocky. While that can happen, good stocks are generally worth more as time goes on, both because of inflation and because the companies grow. There will be pullbacks and sudden jumps, but the chart of a good company will trend upward over the long haul, and so will the chart of the market-long periods of stagnation notwithstanding.
4) Realize that the market is much easier to predict in the long term than the short one. People who tell you they know what the market will do tomorrow or next week are usually lying. But it's a pretty good bet that a very depressed market will return to normal in a few months and a super-inflated one will come back to earth. The same tends to go for individual stocks. The principle is known as reversion to the mean.
5) Be aware that sometimes there's nowhere to go but up, and vice versa. During the 2009 stock crash, people began asking an absurd question. Could the stock market go to zero? When you hear that question being asked, take all your money and grab stocks with both hands. Did they really think people would stop buying groceries or using gas? An individual stock may go to zero, but never the market as a whole. That is why some diversification is essential.
During the preceding tech bubble, people talked about how earnings didn't matter. They talked about a new paradigm, and how it was different this time. It wasn't. Here's a helpful hint: When Allen Greenspan or someone like him starts talking about irrational exuberance, it's time to think about selling.
6) If stock market volatility makes you sick to your stomach, ask yourself why you're still in the market. Some people can take market fluctuations in stride. For others, the thought of a loss is so frightening they lose sleep, develop ulcers, and become deeply depressed. And when they have a gain, they get so excited they jump the gun and miss most of it. If you find yourself on an emotional roller coaster that matches the market's gyrations, think about reducing your exposure or getting out altogether.
While the patient and the bold can make a great deal of money in the market, it isn't worth it if your peace of mind is destroyed and your quality of life trashed. The point of trying to make money, after all, is to make your life better.
7) If all else fails, walk away for a while. The world probably won't end while you're gone. Don't read the stock quotes, don't check the market-just take a break. Most studies show that people who only check their portfolios a couple of times a year do better than those who obsess.
Conclusion: Learning to handle stock market fluctuations with equanimity can improve your financial picture substantially. Extremes of all kinds tend to fade out in time, so avoid rash moves at all costs. If necessary, walk away from your portfolio for a while and return when things calm down.

How Can I Still Use My Current Online Fax Number

How Can I Still Use My Current Online Fax Number One of the most common questions asked about online fax concerns the keeping of your current or old fax number. The reasons for this concern are quite obvious, individuals and companies don't want to lose contact with hundreds of clients, nor do they want to lose the marketing value of a fax number which has been in circulation for years and placed on countless business cards and communications.

Businesses simply want to know if they can "port" their current number over to this new more modern way of faxing?
Yes!
In most cases and with most online faxing services, you can "port" or use your old fax number. But you have to check with the provider you're considering if this can be actually done? Also, in many cases you will have to pay an extra fee to port your old number over to their services, but this is a small price to pay, considering all the lost business you could incur if you go with a new number.
Remember, Internet or email faxing is simply using your computer, your current email account and your web connection to do all your faxing. Simply consider it as the computer or "email" version of faxing since your faxes are sent as email attachments, usually as a Tif or Pdf file. You can still send a message to a traditional fax machine, your online provider acts as an intermediary to handle all transactions.
Online fax services are relatively cheap, especially when you consider you don't have to buy a fax machine or maintain a dedicated fax phone line since everything is done online. You also don't have the ongoing expense of buying all those inks, toners and papers since this is paperless faxing. Monthly rates can go for as low as $3 or $4 if your faxing is very minimum. However, the average cost is around $8 to $10 per month and there are corporate faxing plans if you should need a custom rate.
Many individuals and companies are switching over to online fax and taking their old fax numbers along with them to these new services. Besides the cheaper rates, the main reasons for this change are many. Online fax is completely portable and available anywhere and at any time. Your business is open around the clock - 24/7, 365 days of the year. This can make a big difference especially if your company depends upon faxing to bring in new sales and/or to stay in contact with clients.
Plus, online fax is simply much more convenient to use than traditional faxing. No more paper jams, no more messy inks and no more missed faxes because of a busy signal. It is as easy as sending an email since receiving, checking and sending your faxes can all be done through your computer and your email system. What more can you ask for?

How Choosing The Appropriate Commercial Printing Service

How Choosing The Appropriate Commercial Printing Service Selling products and services is just one aspect of business. What lies in the background is far more important than what meets the eye. A business is successful not just because of the marketing efforts that they have come up with. Credit must also go to the marketing materials used for their marketing campaign. These materials, one way or the other, have an impact and influence in the buying decision of the target market.
Commercial printing is indeed in demand because without it, no professionally printed materials can be produced and find their way into the target market. Now, if you are going to invest on some printing services, then you have to be careful and know which type of service will fulfill your printing needs. Here are some tips and information that will help you decide the most appropriate.
If you need to produce magazines, posters, books and other large-scale materials, a commercial printer that offers sheet fed press would be best. Such type of printing would ensure high-quality outputs. The setback though is the time it would take to print the materials. Sheet fed as the name suggest usually requires a sheet of paper for printing, this sheet of paper is pulled after every print that is why it takes longer. If your business needs newsletters, forms, newspaper and the like, then you need a company that uses web press. Such style of printing uses rolls of continuous paper, shortening the time of printing.
Several types of web presses are being used. High speed and small web presses are the terms use for these types of printers. A high-speed web press is good if you have a large-scale printing need such as newspapers or newsletters. A small web press is ideal if you want to print flyers, books or even materials used for mailing. If you usually print specialized materials such as invitation cards, greeting cards and the like, a specialized printer is necessary. You need printers that offer specialized services and print using various types of materials such as plastic, metal, glass, vinyl or PVC materials.
Knowing which type of printing and the commercial printer that would suit your printing needs will most likely help you save time and effort. One last but important thing to consider before coming up with a decision is your budget. Do you have the right budget for the type of printing services you need? Study the advantages and the disadvantages of each type. Ask your colleagues or friends and those who have tried the particular printing style in a given company. If your business really involves printing materials most of the time or solely relies on printing materials, then hiring the best commercial printer with the services that really offers what you need would be a great feat.
There may be many commercial printing companies in your area. Remember that there are only a few, which can offer good services. You can also consider buying your own printer or setting up your own business because this would allow you to save and earn more.

Save Time by Using an Online Phone Number Lookup

Looking up phone numbers has never been easier thanks to the Internet. It really wasn't long ago that in order to find a personal or business phone number one had to either look it up in the phone book, go to the library where they had phone books from different parts of the country and even overseas, or call information. But now, with a phone number lookup at your fingertips, finding anyone with a listed number anywhere has become a snap.
The most obvious drawback to a phone number lookup site is that typically it will only display listed and land line phone numbers. While businesses want to be found and they will typically have every number listed with as many sites as they can, people are a different story. Some value their privacy; others just don't want to be found. So if they don't have a listed or public number, or just a cell phone, the odds of getting a good number from such a site drop drastically.
Now, it is beyond the scope of this article to summarize all the various phone number lookup sites out there; there are over 77 million listed in Google. But lucky for us, all of them work along the same general premise. Enter the last name and the first name or first initial of the person you're looking up. Results can be further broken down by putting in a known city or at least state, especially if they have a common name. Some sites help in determining if you have the right one by showing an approximate age and even relatives. Sometimes addresses are included with it, but not always.
A tool such as phone number lookup can be quite the time saver, because now instead of pouring through tons of white pages to find someone, they can be found with ease so long as they have a public or listed number. Businesses can also be found without sifting through tons of yellow pages and dealing with all the ads just to find an address and number to call. Some of the better phone lookup site can even bundle business listings by industry or category.
On the flip side of the phone number lookup is the reverse phone lookup. With this type of search, you enter it, and it matches addresses and individual records. This type of search isn't meant for looking someone or something up, but is good for verification or investigative purposes. It's pretty handy to have when your caller ID keeps showing a number that doesn't leave a message and you want to know who is trying to get in touch with you. Some sites expand on the basic reverse phone lookup with other options such as an address look up as well.
Both a regular phone number lookup and reverse phone lookup can be very handy tools, but their uses aren't just limited to the United States. There are sites dedicated to numbers from other countries, such as Canada, the U.K., and Australia. These sites, in many cases, will have fees associated with their phone number lookups, so use all due caution with any online business transaction. And while cell phones can't be found with the typical phone number lookup or reverse phone lookup, there are sites that cater to this segment of the communications industry. But like their international brethren, they tend to charge for their services.
There is no doubt that with the advent of the Internet and the ability to hop online to do a phone number lookup is a far cry from how looking people up used to be. The time savings and the increase in productivity has made reverse phone lookup searches one of the better uses of the Internet, and with continued technological improvements, will only serve us better in the future.

Is TEM Right for Your Company?

The service of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) has come under fire recently. I was attending a Telecom Expense Management summit put on by CCMI and the person in charge actually referred to TEM as an application and compared it to Spellcheck.
Recently, members of Telecom Talk debated the ability to produce a ROI from TEM. The members seemed to come to an agreement that there is some initial return, during the first year, when audits are performed and billing errors are discovered and unnecessary services are identified and removed, but that it's hard to justify the expense of TEM in the 2nd and subsequent years.
When is TEM is not a good option:
  • For smaller businesses.
  • For established businesses, not in growth mode.
  • Businesses with full time telecom people.
If your business is operated out of just a few locations, your telecom services shouldn't be too difficult to manage. A company controller should have the time and understanding to review bills; to look for inconsistencies, billing errors and third party charges.
Businesses that have a set number of locations, with a static phone and internet service inventory, fall into the same category as smaller businesses. Their service inventory and billing shouldn't be too difficult for IT, accounting and bill processing staff to manage.
If you have full time telecom people, they should be on top of your company's voice and data services and the bills they generate, or why are they still employed? If you've decided to keep this job function in house, the people performing the role should have your telecom inventory, costs and billing under control.
Who are good candidates for TEM:
  • Growing and expanding businesses.
  • Businesses that have acquired other businesses.
  • Businesses spread out across a number of regions, serviced by a number of voice and data service providers.
Businesses that are in growth mode are constantly ordering new services; their service and billing inventory is anything but static. Without a service like TEM, the management of telecom services will become increasingly difficult.
Businesses that have acquired other businesses have also acquired all of the company's telecom assets. Procurement and record keeping can vary drastically from one company to the next. TEM is a good way to improve the visibility of a company's voice and data service inventory and facilitate its management.
National and international businesses typically utilize many different providers for their telephone and internet services. Even the largest, most pervasive carriers, like AT&T, Verizon and CenturyLink, don't provide service to every region of the world and no company should have all of their telecom eggs in one basket. Multiple carriers can mean multiple bills and TEM can help a company better manage the result.
For smaller companies, with more static telecom service inventories, I would recommend regular scheduled audits as an alternative to TEM. The audits don't need to be performed by company staff. Experienced telecom consultants can be hired for far less than a TEM service would cost and those people can usually justify their cost with the savings they produce.
Another option is a telecom agent or agency. They will perform inventory and bill audits and provide market pricing at no cost for the opportunity to broker replacement services

How To Benefit From People Finder

Certainly, at some point in your existence you would either feel like or would really require knowing the whereabouts of a person. He or she doesn't have to be personally special to you because this individual might have owed you big time. There are those people who would like to seek their family roots, their lost relatives, their ex-schoolmates, coworkers, ex-beaus and so on. Essentially, there can be a variety of reasons both personal and otherwise that could prompt you to find somebody. It is the task of a People Finder service site to help you achieve that goal.
Because it's a normal occurrence to lose track of some people in your life, the existence of a reliable online people tracker is indeed a relief for those who are serious in accomplishing this as a mission. Think of the comfort and the immediate assistance these locators can do for adoptive kids who dream of finding or meeting their real parents. Situations like that demand a serious investigation, tremendous amount of efforts and cash- and most of these individuals, unfortunately, can't meet such expense.
While the extensive, conventional ways are on hand like the attempt of using telephone directories, media/advertisement schemes, or paying for a detective agency, these methods insist more energy, time and capital. If you want to seek out someone, the sooner the time that you can find him or her, the greater would be your fulfillment. Speedy results can't be anticipated so much from manual means. Only the World Wide Web can do that for you. With the information highway being an openhanded data bank, finding lost ones can be as easy as pressing "enter" and clicking the mouse.
So what can these sites offer in essence? Well, if you just have the person's name and their last state of residence that you know of, you can definitely begin your quest. Flexible data servers could offer inquiries with the use of other identifiers like landline or cell numbers and or emails. Once the necessary info is typed into the tracker's system, you'll obtain other helpful pieces of information that would bring you so much closer to that someone you are searching for.
In addition to getting data such as the person's residential address (previous and current ones) and home phone numbers, the premium and comprehensive providers could direct you to links that allow a deeper investigation on the target individual. Person finders could also mean looking into their history. This would lead you to not only tracking where they are at the moment, but knowing what they have become. Thus helps you decide whether it is prudent to re-establish any form of relations with this person again.
People Locator services are achieving fame due to its significance in today's time. If you have allowed an important person to drift away from you... an old best friend maybe, an ex-sweetheart, a professor, or anyone else you have in your mind at this precise moment, regret no more because you've got yourself a practical way out. You can either go ahead spend a tiny amount to satisfy your wish or you can stay in wonder about that person for the rest of your life.

Cramming: Critical Things to Be Aware Of

Are you a victim of cramming? This is not the same type of cramming associated with college students pulling all nighters, by studying for exams, coupled with lots of strong, caffeinated coffee. We are familiar with spamming, phishing, hacking and electronic pick-pocketing. Unfortunately, however, cramming is one of the latest growing practices of consumer fraud befalling so many unsuspecting people.
Cramming occurs when someone places unauthorized, deceptive and misleading charges on your telephone bill. If your local or long distance telephone company intentionally or unintentionally places unauthorized charges on your bill, more than likely you could be the victim of cramming. According to the FCC, one out of twenty victims of cramming may be aware of these unauthorized charges.
Crammers trick consumers into paying for services that they neither received nor authorized which could cost more than the end-user was led to believe. Therefore, here are some cramming red flags that you should be aware of.
1. If a local or long distance company, as well as some other type of service provider do not describe all relevant charges clearly and accurately when marketing a service to you, investigate those charges.
2. Even if you authorize a service and did not understand or were misled about how much this service cost, you were crammed.
3. Cramming can appear in many forms and is often hard to detect on your telephone bill. If charges are added to your telephone bill every month without a clear explanation of the services this could indicate cramming.
4. Although cramming charges will typically appear on your local and long distance telephone statements, they could also appear in bills from other related services like wireless telephone providers, pagers and beeper services.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has a set of Truth-in-Billing regulations that require telephone companies to provide the description of services that you are billed for in clear and non-misleading language. The company sending you the telephone bill must identify the service provider who is associated with these charges. Telephone companies are required to display one or more toll-free numbers to call and inquire about a charge or dispute one.
Be sure to review your landline or wireless telephone bill carefully each month. Protect yourself by taking the time to question anything that looks remotely suspicious. Crammers try to stay under the radar by only charging $2.00 or $3.00 that could go unnoticed on your bill. Be sure to keep a record of telephone services, such as 900 numbers or any other type of telephone support that you authorized and use. Carefully read all promotional materials and forms before making a commitment to sign up for telephone or any other related services that will be billed to your phone. Just as you go through your credit card statements, empower yourself with information to protect you from becoming a victim of cramming or any type of communications fraud for that matter.
