Barbecued fruit Recipe
Barbecued fruitAn interesting twist on barbecued food using fruit instead of savoury. Delicious served with a spoon of light crème fraiche. 
 
 

Ingredients

  • 3 pears, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 1 melon, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • good pinch mixed spice
  • good drizzle brandy (optional)

Instructions

  1. Simply mix together all the ingredients, then divide between 6 large squares of foil and secure into parcels.
  2. Cook over the cooling coals for about 10–12 minutes.
  3. Delicious served with a spoon of light crème fraiche.
