How Helping People With Their Credit Concerns Through Blogging What do you do when you check your credit report and discover there are errors on it? That was the same question I had asked myself in 2007 when I found items on my credit report were inaccurate. I spent countless hours making phone calls to collection agencies and creditors not including the time and money spent writing, printing and sending letters trying to get the inaccuracies fixed. After weeks and months of frustration I spent countless hours researching the Fair Credit Reporting Act and asked a gentleman at my bank for advice.

I was referred to an independent mortgage broker that has no association with the bank. I met with this guy and he referred me to a company that advertised to fix credit problems. I was excited; I was starting to feel a false sense of relief. I spent hundreds of dollars and got virtually nowhere.
The journey to repairing my credit turned into a real stressful and frustrating nightmare. Needless to say I put forth much effort then mentioned above and even hired a fair credit attorney in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and flew there from Orlando Florida which is where I live.
I filed several lawsuits against several credit agencies and the three credit bureau's Equifax, Experian and Transunion. All in all I wound up taking these organizations to federal court to get my credit fixed once and for all. Did I get my credit fixed? Yes finally after 2+ years of making endless phone calls, writing countless letters and spending thousands of dollars.
Now that I have been through all of this I can honestly state that I have extensive real world knowledge on what is involved in really fixing credit problems and inaccuracies. I learned and know what works, what does not work and all about the credit repair scams that are all over the internet and more. I know what you need to say and how to correctly communicate effectively with creditors and credit bureaus.
I know a lot from my experiences and my knowledge is valuable information and being a webmaster I decided I am going to make a blog dedicated to the topic of Fair Credit and Credit Repair. Not only did I decide to make a blog but I decided if I am going to really help people out there I need to write good content and really blog on a regular basis. I bought the domain name FairCreditNews.com and in 2011 I launched the blog and the website is live. I will dedicate some of my free time to this blog and I really look forward to helping people by blogging on a regular basis.
